Yummy!!!
Yeap...I really love to cook!
I'm not saying that I'm a good cook...but cooking really gives me a sense of satisfaction! As I have promised to myself that I will learn loads of recipes while I'm here.....weekends are the days for me to try my 'skills' The kids and my hubby are always looking forward for these days coz they know that these are the times not only for us to go outing but also to be served with 'extra' special food...(simple food during weekdays coz mummy is really busy... )Well...whatever the result is...I'm always glad to be given the warmest compliments from my loved ones!!!!

Selamat Ulangtahun,mak......
Selamat Hari Lahir, Mak.......

UK Tour - Day 8
Today is our last day!!!
We spent the whole day at Land's End as this was the first time for abg Azhar and family there. We've been there before...but still, the amazing and beautiful scenery won our heart just like before. Well, it's our last day of the tour. Although a bit tired, this trip was awesome! Felt really satified and enjoyed ourselves with the scenery and experience. Britain is really rich with its amazing landscape...
On our way back home..something dreadful happened!! We were at a petrol station when suddenly smoke came out from the engine. As it happened at a petrol station...for safety reason, all the operations had to be stopped..well, you can just imagine the massive traffic jam at that time...Fire rescue came, scanned and checked the van thoroughly. We were stranded for a few hours as the van could not be used anymore...and at the end of the day...we were sent back home by cab...Wow..this was really an UNFORGETABLE vacation indeed!

UK Tour - Day 7
Yeap! 2 days to go!
From Arundel(Sussex) where we spent the night last night, we went to Portsmouth, a naval port and home to the world's oldest dry dock to many famous ships. Planned to board the ship but unfortunately, the ticket counter was not on operation on that day. Well...on the way back to get our car, we found an outlet store...so, kak Dilla and I managed to shop a few cutlery set there! .Went to southampton (also known as Soton), Dorchester, Exeter and finally...Cornwall.Spent the night at St Austell...The kids were smiling happily to be served with a BIG bowl of maggie mee!(Their favourite yet forbidden food!)

UK Tour - Day 6
We went to Cambridge University this time. The University of Cambridge is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and also one of the world's leading academic institutions. It is even ranked in the world's top 5 universities . In fact, it has educated many of the world' prime ministers and the royal families. I absolutely would not have the chance to be a student here...but, deep in my heart...I wish that my children would be given the golden opportunities to be a part of this distinguished university...someday! Amin....
We were lucky that day to meet a Malaysian student in Cambridge who kindly gave us a special discount on 'punting'.... the most 'elegant and romantic' way to navigate the city's ancient waterways. That's the best way to have a look at the beautiful buildings where you don't have to worry about the traffic. The kids had a marvellous time on the 'punt'...Felt like as if we're on a gondola in Italy..

UK Tour -Day 5
Stopped at several places this time...from Stoke straight to Nottingham, Petersborough, Norwich , Great Yarmouth and Ely.Spent a few hours in Nottingham as it is a place of tourist attraction. I just found out that Nottingham is the home to The Tales of Robin Hood ...the man who was best known for his bravery in his fight for justice, for the poor and oppressed.Well, it was claimed that the Sherwood Forest in Nottingham was where Robin Hood's expanding band of fugitives lived, worked, married, raised families, died and buried. Believe it or not? Well, it's surely up to you to decide!

Yeap...today is MY birthday!!!!
We're still travelling and I didn't expect that I would get a surprise birthday wishes and gift from my loved ones.I was coming out from the bathroom in the hotel when I was greeted with a Happy Birthday song and a card from the kids! My dear hubby gave me a small red bag and from the first glance of it, I knew what it was . Thank you, honey! Thank you for the warmest wishes and gift!!! My family in Malaysia sent me their wishes too through the internet.I miss them all so much that I cried when I read their messages. It is a wonderful feeling to know that you are loved......
.........................................................................................................................................................
"BIRTHDAY GREETINGS ACROSS THE SEA
You are 37 today - Happy Birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday !!!
Your birthday brings the perfect chance to really let you know just how very much a dear sister you are to me. It seems just like yesterday when I first set eyes on you. I was in university when you came into this world and I could only see and cuddle you during semester breaks. You were really someone special - a baby that would tug the strings of my heart each time I had to leave for campus.
Now that you are a mother of four and I myself have been blessed with a granddaughter, we still share a relationship too deep for words.Though years and life may bring changes, nothing will ever change that special bond between us.
So here's a warm wish that your birthday and that life will always bring all the wonderful things you so deserve.Love, Yong"

UK Tour - Day 4
It's the fourth day! We seemed to be a bit more tired..might be because of the lack of sleep...Stopped at New Castle then straight to Manchester. We went to the stadium as well..the famous sports venue in Manchester, England. We spent the night at Stoke-on-Trent.It's a city in Staffordshire, England and can be considered to be the home of the pottery industry. It's where you can get beautiful (and of course, high class!) tableware or kitchenware from prestige designers such as Royal Doulton, Spode,Royal Albert, Port Meirion and many more. It was quite late when we reached there..all the shops were closed...It's alright...when the time comes, I'll definitely come here again shopping for my collections!Right, hubby?!

UK Tour - Day 3
Everybody slept soundly last night as yesterday was quite a hectic day for us especially the kids after 'torturing' themselves with the rides! As for me...of course I had sore feet having to escort them in the park! From Carlisle, we headed straight to Scotland. We stopped at Glasgow ...bought some lovely souvenirs for our family in Malaysia. We went to Edinburgh later...fascinated with the beautiful castle and scenery! Glad to get the chance to take pictures with the 'skirt' man and his bagpipe!
